Dr. Nadim Daya, Chiropractor
Dr. Nadim Daya was born and raised in Calgary, Alberta. Dr. Daya completed his undergraduate degree majoring in Kinesiology at the University of Calgary and continued to pursue a Bachelor’s degree in Science as well as his Doctor of Chiropractic degree at the University of Western States in Portland, Oregon. Dr. Nadim Daya is a member of the Canadian Chiropractic Association and the Alberta College and Association of Chiropractors. He is an evidence-based practitioner who adheres to strict codes of conduct, professionalism, and ethics in his practice. Dr. Daya administers various practices such as gentle spinal manipulation, activator technique, instrument-assisted soft tissue technique, shockwave therapy, Thompson Drop, Trigger Point Therapy, Kinesio tape, rehabilitative and functional exercises, physical therapy, and laser therapy. Dr. Daya incorporates the latest research in the field along with previous experience to give each patient a chance to meet and achieve their health and wellness goals.
Throughout his time in school, Dr. Daya has enjoyed playing a variety of sports including ice hockey, ball hockey, soccer, and football. He has competed at an international level in the World Ball Hockey Championships in 2013 & 2015. During his free time, Dr. Daya enjoys going to the gym, playing sports, and interacting with family and friends.
Dr. Sheldon Browse, Chiropractor
Dr. Sheldon Browse graduated with honors from the University of Western States in Portland, Oregon, earning a Doctor of Chiropractic. Dr. Sheldon is experienced in treating office workers, motor vehicle accident cases, weekend warriors, and everyone in between, helping them find relief and recovery. He is passionate about helping workers and families make long-lasting positive changes in their posture and work environments.
Dr. Sheldon utilizes a combination of therapies, including spinal adjustments (both manual and instrument-assisted), soft tissue therapy like myofascial release and Instrument Assisted Soft Tissue Therapy, targeted exercises, and ergonomic and lifestyle modifications to help his patients get out of pain and back to their jobs. He has received additional training with the Motion Palpation Institute to further hone his adjusting skills.
Outside of the office, Dr. Sheldon is passionate about baking, cooking, hiking, rock climbing and taking care of his greyhound, Atlas. To keep active, Dr. Sheldon does multiple daily walks with Atlas. When he gets a chance, he does a mixture of rock climbing and bouldering with his fiance Natasha during the week and hiking the Rocky Mountains on the weekend. At home, he is often busy working towards perfecting his homemade bread and baked treats recipes.
Olaseni (SENI), Physiotherapist
Olaseni graduated from the University of Lagos in Nigeria with a Bachelor of Science in Physiotherapy and DPT (musculoskeletal) from the Evidence in Motion Health Professional Institute, USA. He has been active in physiotherapy practice for 20 years and has been very diligent at keeping up to date with current treatment trends and techniques. He held licensure to practice in the United Kingdom, Ireland, and Nigeria. He is licensed to practice in Alberta, Canada since 2014 with Physiotherapy Alberta College and Association. Olaseni is very passionate about his patients, and constantly seeks creative ways to assist them in their recovery and meeting their health-related goals. He is an outdoor person and loves bike riding, swimming, and travelling with family. Currently, he is learning downhill skiing and hunting also. He is married to his high school sweetheart, Anne and they have a lovely son, Joshua and are expecting a baby in the near future.
Professional philosophy: Olaseni sees himself as a coach. Helping his clients meet their goals by working together with them- directing, encouraging, sweating and cheering them on to meeting these health goals. He believes that our bodies should function without pain.
Olamide Majekodunmi, Physiotherapist
Olamide Majekodunmi joins Legacy Chiropractic as a physiotherapist enthusiastic about making her patient's activities of daily living meaningful.
Before joining Legacy Chiropractic, she has worked on different acute care units outside Calgary, including surgical and medical units, over a five-year period. Olamide also brings with her a 10-year work experience in outpatient Physiotherapy from Nigeria.
She has experience working with patients and care teams with the goal of the patient's return to baseline mobility or enhancing the patient's quality of life. Currently a Physiotherapist in acute care with Alberta Health Services, she handles caseloads on medical units and the intensive care unit.
Olamide holds a Master of Science degree and a Bachelor of Science degree, both in Physiotherapy. She enjoys singing, especially with a choir.
DR. VIKTORIIA TAYLOR (PHILLIPS), REGISTERED ACUPUNCTURIST
Viktoriia Taylor( formerly Phillips) is a registered acupuncturist who graduated from ACATCM in Calgary, A.B. (licensed with CAAA). She works with the tools of Acupuncture, Chinese therapeutic bodywork, dietary counselling, treatment with herbal remedies and most importantly, kindness, care and compassion. She is highly qualified with expertise and a holistic approach in women's health, pregnancy, fertility, pain management, digestive issues, trauma treatment, facial rejuvenation with Acupuncture. She brings to her practice over 10 years in the western medical field as a medical doctor in Ukraine. She successfully can translate and combine her knowledge of Western and Chinese medicine into a unique and modern holistic approach for her patients. Her treatments incorporate techniques such as Acupuncture, Electro-Acupuncture, Dry Needling, Traditional Chinese Acupuncture, Scalp Acupuncture, Auricular Acupuncture, Cupping, and Gua Sha. Viktoriia is also an expert in herbal medicine, including Traditional Chinese and Western Herbology.
Lilia Costin, Registered Massage Therapist
Lilia is a high-energy massage therapist with knowledge of a wide range of massage methods and techniques. She has a real passion for massage therapy, health, and wellness. Lilia has many years of experience with over 3000 hours and completed a 2-years Diploma in Advanced Clinical Massage Therapy Programme.
Lilia specializes in therapeutic massage to help treat motor vehicle injuries, repetitive stress or strain injuries and many other conditions. Her training includes Orthopaedic, Sports Massage, Deep Tissue, Myofascial Release, Lymphatic Drainage, Joint Movements Facilitation Technique, Hot Stone, and Postnatal and Prenatal Massage. She is certified in Cyriax friction technique for soft tissue dysfunctions, Thai yoga table massage, raindrop therapy, and dynamic cupping and massage.
Lilia uses this knowledge to better understand how to treat her clients effectively. She loves to promote the benefits that massage therapy can provide to clients to help them in their busy lives. In her spare time, Lilia loves spending time with her family. She also enjoys outdoor and sports activities.
Daniella Langmann, Registered Massage Therapist
Daniella understands no one approach is the right one for every individual. Her training includes a range of modalities such as Swedish Massage Therapy, Sports Massage, Pregnancy Massage, Lymphatic Drainage, Cupping, Aromatherapy with Acupressure, post-Motor Vehicle Accident Treatments and many others.
Her educational background includes a 2202hr Diploma in Massage Therapy from Lethbridge College. Daniella firmly believes you should not limit yourself to the amount of knowledge you can learn from others. For this reason, she continues to expand her career by learning new techniques to improve her clients’ quality of life.
In her free time, Daniella likes to visit her family, cuddle up with her hairless cats and yes, they do have sweaters for every season. She also hits the gym to keep up her ongoing passion for Women Figure Competitions with hopes to return to the NPAA stage in 2020 having previously placed in 2017 she aims to achieve a higher placement than the last.
ECATERINA GLAZCOV, REGISTERED MASSAGE THERAPIST
Born and raised in Moldova, a little country in Eastern Europe, Ecaterina has been living in Canada since 2014. She graduated from MaKami College. She really enjoys working with people and is quite dedicated to her clients. Ecaterina feels grateful to be able to help them get better. She loves her job, and the best part about her is that she likes to engage her clients in treatment and work together with them in order to achieve their treatment goals.
Ecaterina loves spending quality time with her family. She enjoys hiking and biking in her free time.
Matias is a 2200-hour RMT who graduated from Mount Royal University and is a member in good standing with the MTAA. Matias is passionate about his work and always seeks to provide his clients with exceptional service and homecare to help remedy any issues they may present with. His treatments often incorporate a variety of techniques, such as deep tissue, myofascial release, proprioceptive neuromuscular facilitation (PNF) techniques, dynamic cupping, and Swedish massage. He believes a balance of therapeutic massage and stretching is key in maintaining longevity in tissue health.
In his spare time, Matias enjoys boarding and biking with his friends through scenic Calgary and area paths and spending time with his family and friends.
